We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts and Finance Manager to oversee and optimize the financial operations of our retail business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, accounting, and team leadership, with the ability to drive efficiency and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement financial strategies to achieve the company’s goals.
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger management.
- Prepare, analyze, and present financial statements and reports to senior management.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and accounting standards.
- Monitor cash flow and implement strategies for financial stability and growth.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants for annual audits and tax filings.
- Evaluate and improve financial systems and processes for greater efficiency.
- Supervise and mentor the finance and accounts team to achieve departmental objectives.
- Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making for retail operations.
Academic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CA will be an added advantage.
Experience Required:
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in accounting and financial management, preferably in the retail industry.
- Proven track record in managing financial operations and leading a team.
