Admission Counselor

Job Description

The Admission Counselor plays a key role in facilitating the admissions process and supporting prospective students through their journey from inquiry to enrollment. This position requires a customer-focused approach, strong communication skills, and a commitment to guiding students and their families through the admissions process at our institution.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Promote the institution to prospective students, parents, and educational partners through presentations, campus tours, and outreach events.
  • Assist applicants with completing admissions applications and ensure all required documents are submitted in a timely manner.
  • Counsel prospective students and their families on academic programs, career pathways, and student life at the institution.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with high school counselors, educational consultants, and other stakeholders to promote the institution and increase referrals.
  • Maintain accurate records of applicant information and admissions activities using the institution's CRM system.
  • Prepare reports on recruitment activities, applicant trends, and enrollment projections for management review.
  • Assist admitted students with enrollment procedures, including registration, orientation, and housing arrangements.
  • Stay informed about trends in higher education admissions, enrollment management, and student recruitment strategies.

Working Conditions:

  • The role may involve occasional evening or weekend work to accommodate recruitment events and admissions deadlines.
  • Regular travel may be required for recruitment activities, including visits to high schools, college fairs, and community events.
