We are seeking an experienced and proactive Business Development Manager - International to drive global business growth, foster international client relationships, and expand our logistics operations into new markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in international markets for logistics services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with global clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Develop and implement strategies to penetrate target regions and achieve revenue growth.
- Negotiate contracts, rates, and agreements to secure profitable business.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of international projects.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities and industry trends.
- Provide solutions to clients’ logistics challenges, including FTL, LTL, freight forwarding, and express transportation.
- Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and business plans tailored to global clients.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and revenue goals for international business.
- Provide regular reports on business development activities, pipeline progress, and key performance metrics.
Academic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field.
- Master’s degree preferred but not mandatory.
Experience Required:
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a similar role in the logistics or freight forwarding industry.
- Proven track record in developing and managing international client relationships.
- Experience working with international markets, clients, or trade lanes.
Skills Required:
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of global logistics processes, trade regulations, and market trends.
