We are seeking an experienced General Manager - Works to lead our manufacturing operations in the cigarette and tobacco sector. The ideal candidate will oversee the entire production process, manage resources efficiently, and maintain high-quality standards. This role requires implementing best practices, driving innovation, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. 

Location: Hetauda, Nepal

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Planning:
   • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve business objectives, enhance efficiency, and reduce operational costs.
2. Production Management:
   • Oversee the entire production process, including planning, scheduling, and execution to meet production targets.
3. Quality Management:
   • Ensure adherence to high-quality standards throughout the production cycle.
4. Supply Chain Management:
   • Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure the timely procurement of raw materials.
5. Inventory Management:
   • Optimize inventory levels, minimize waste, and implement effective inventory control systems.
6. Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE):
   • Ensure compliance with HSE regulations, implement safety protocols, and maintain a safe workplace environment.
7. Team Management:
   • Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team across production, quality, and maintenance departments.
8. Budgeting and Cost Control:
   • Manage budgets, control expenses, and ensure optimal resource utilization.
9. Innovation and Improvement:
   • Identify opportunities for innovation, process enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
10. Regulatory Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with safety, labor laws, excise taxation, and environmental regulations.

Academic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical) or a related field.
• MBA or equivalent qualification is preferred.

Experience Required:

• Minimum of 12-15 years of experience in manufacturing operations, preferably in the FMCG sector.
• Proven track record of leadership and management experience, ideally in cigarette manufacturing.
