IT Officer
Job Description
We are looking for a skilled IT Officer to ensure the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure. The candidate will support users, maintain hardware and software systems, and ensure the security of network systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the organization's IT systems and networks.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Ensure data security and backup processes are in place and followed.
- Implement and manage security protocols to protect sensitive data.
- Liaise with external vendors and service providers.
- Manage and support cloud-based systems and other IT-related services.
- Conduct training for staff on new systems and technologies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- Strong understanding of networking (LAN, WAN), operating systems, and hardware.
- Experience with systems security, data backup, and recovery.
- Familiarity with cloud services and remote IT support.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
