National Sales Manager

Job Description

The National Sales Manager will oversee and drive the overall sales operations at a national level, ensuring achievement of sales targets, team performance optimization, and expansion into new markets. This role demands a seasoned professional with extensive sales leadership experience, particularly in the FMCG sector, to lead and inspire a high-performing sales team effectively.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and supervise the entire Sales Department, including dealers and distributors.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and collection targets.
  • Set, monitor, and ensure the achievement of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Motivate, train, and guide the sales team to optimize performance and revenue generation.
  • Prepare detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts.
  • Conduct market research to identify new customers and untapped market opportunities.
  • Manage the sales of various products through policy-bound methods to ensure compliance and consistency.
  • Provide leadership and training to subordinates to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Ensure timely balance confirmation and reconciliation of accounts with all parties.

Academic Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

Experience Required:

  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in the sales field, with at least 5 years in a senior-level sales position.
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience working as a National Sales Manager in the FMCG industry.

Job Specification:

  • Proven managerial and leadership abilities to inspire and lead a sales team.
  • Strong communication skills to build relationships with clients, dealers, and stakeholders.
  • Analytical and data-driven approach to problem-solving and strategy formulation.
  • Experience using sales applications like DNMS, Rosiya, or similar platforms.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • A valid four-wheeler driving license is mandatory.
