Receptionist

Job Description

We are looking for a professional and well-organized Receptionist to manage our front desk and provide exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will handle administrative tasks, manage communications, and be proficient in both English and Nepali typing and speaking. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to multitask in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Front Desk Management:
    • Greet visitors, clients, and employees with a welcoming attitude, and handle inquiries efficiently.
  2. Telephone Handling:
    • Answer, screen, and forward phone calls; take and relay messages promptly.
  3. Visitor Coordination:
    • Manage visitor logbooks, issue visitor passes, and guide visitors to appropriate departments.
  4. Communication Management:
    • Handle incoming and outgoing emails, letters, and packages; maintain effective communication with staff and clients.
  5. Administrative Support:
    • Assist with scheduling appointments, meetings, and maintaining office supplies inventory.
  6. Documentation and Typing:
    • Prepare, format, and type documents in English and Nepali; ensure accuracy and professionalism.
  7. Data Entry:
    • Maintain and update records, databases, and files; ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
  8. Office Coordination:
    • Coordinate with various departments for smooth internal communication and operations.
  9. Customer Service:
    • Provide information and assistance to visitors and callers, addressing queries with professionalism.

Academic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree is a plus.

Experience Required:

  • At least 1-2 years of experience as a receptionist, administrative assistant, or in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Skills Required:

  • Proficiency in English and Nepali typing and speaking.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Customer service-oriented with a friendly and professional demeanor.
