We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Manager to drive business growth and revenue in the cold storage and logistics industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven sales track record, strong industry knowledge, and excellent client relationship management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet revenue targets for cold storage services.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the cold storage and logistics industry.
- Regularly meet and exceed sales quotas and objectives.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Understand client needs and offer tailored solutions for cold storage, logistics, and supply chain services.
- Conduct regular meetings and visits to ensure client satisfaction and identify upselling opportunities.
Market Research & Analysis:
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends and potential areas of business growth.
- Monitor competitor activities and pricing to ensure the facility remains competitive in the market.
Sales Reporting:
- Track sales performance, report on sales metrics, and provide regular updates to senior management.
- Prepare and present quarterly and annual sales forecasts.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with the operations and logistics teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of services.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to create promotional materials and advertising campaigns.
Academic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field (preferred).
Experience Required:
- Minimum of 5 years in a sales role, with at least 2 years in the cold storage or logistics industry.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of the cold storage, food, pharmaceutical, and logistics markets.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and nurture client relationships.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.).
