Sales Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Manager to drive business growth and revenue in the cold storage and logistics industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven sales track record, strong industry knowledge, and excellent client relationship management skills.


Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy & Execution:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet revenue targets for cold storage services.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the cold storage and logistics industry.
  • Regularly meet and exceed sales quotas and objectives.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Understand client needs and offer tailored solutions for cold storage, logistics, and supply chain services.
  • Conduct regular meetings and visits to ensure client satisfaction and identify upselling opportunities.

Market Research & Analysis:

  • Conduct market research to identify industry trends and potential areas of business growth.
  • Monitor competitor activities and pricing to ensure the facility remains competitive in the market.

Sales Reporting:

  • Track sales performance, report on sales metrics, and provide regular updates to senior management.
  • Prepare and present quarterly and annual sales forecasts.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the operations and logistics teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of services.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to create promotional materials and advertising campaigns.

Academic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field (preferred).

Experience Required:

  • Minimum of 5 years in a sales role, with at least 2 years in the cold storage or logistics industry.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the cold storage, food, pharmaceutical, and logistics markets.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and nurture client relationships.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.).
