The Big Appliance Sales Manager will oversee sales operations for large home appliances such as refrigerators, washing machines, air conditioners, and more. Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy Development:
- Design and execute effective sales strategies to meet and exceed company sales targets for large home appliances.
- Identify potential markets, customers, and channels to drive business growth.
Team Leadership:
- Manage, guide, and motivate the sales team to achieve high performance.
- Offer regular coaching and mentorship to improve team capabilities.
- Establish clear performance goals and ensure team alignment with business objectives.
Market Analysis & Reporting:
- Conduct in-depth research on market trends, competitors, and consumer preferences.
- Deliver timely reports to senior management on sales performance, competitor activities, and growth opportunities.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and business partners.
- Address and resolve customer concerns to maintain satisfaction and loyalty.
Sales Targets and Budget Management:
- Set and monitor monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines in all sales activities.
Product Knowledge & Training:
- Stay updated on new products, technologies, and industry developments.
- Organize regular training sessions for the team on product knowledge and effective sales techniques.
Promotions and Campaigns:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to design impactful promotional campaigns and seasonal product launches.
- Analyze the success of promotional activities to refine future strategies.
Academic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
Experience Required:
- A minimum of 5-7 years in sales, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in the home appliance, retail, or FMCG sectors is preferred.
