Sales Manager (Big Appliances)

Job Description

The Big Appliance Sales Manager will oversee sales operations for large home appliances such as refrigerators, washing machines, air conditioners, and more. This role involves driving sales growth, leading a dynamic team, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess extensive sales experience, leadership capabilities, and a strong understanding of the big appliance industry to contribute to the company’s success.


Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy Development:

  • Design and execute effective sales strategies to meet and exceed company sales targets for large home appliances.
  • Identify potential markets, customers, and channels to drive business growth.

Team Leadership:

  • Manage, guide, and motivate the sales team to achieve high performance.
  • Offer regular coaching and mentorship to improve team capabilities.
  • Establish clear performance goals and ensure team alignment with business objectives.

Market Analysis & Reporting:

  • Conduct in-depth research on market trends, competitors, and consumer preferences.
  • Deliver timely reports to senior management on sales performance, competitor activities, and growth opportunities.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Develop and nurture strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and business partners.
  • Address and resolve customer concerns to maintain satisfaction and loyalty.

Sales Targets and Budget Management:

  • Set and monitor monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines in all sales activities.

Product Knowledge & Training:

  • Stay updated on new products, technologies, and industry developments.
  • Organize regular training sessions for the team on product knowledge and effective sales techniques.

Promotions and Campaigns:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to design impactful promotional campaigns and seasonal product launches.
  • Analyze the success of promotional activities to refine future strategies.

Academic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).

Experience Required:

  • A minimum of 5-7 years in sales, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience in the home appliance, retail, or FMCG sectors is preferred.

Skills Required:

  • Technical Skills: CRM systems, sales analytics tools, and market analysis techniques.
  • Leadership Skills: Team management, goal setting, and motivation.
  • Communication Skills: Fluent in English and Nepali, with excellent negotiation and presentation abilities.
  • Industry Expertise: Strong knowledge of the big appliance market and consumer buying behavior.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to adapt sales strategies based on market trends.
