Roles and Responsibilities:
- Perform push sales and achieve sales targets as assigned for the period and product lineup.
- Maintain and develop relationships with all distributors. • Identify and close potential customers (distributors) for new business.
- Gather market and customer information (wholesaler) and pass it on to the area sales manager.
- Provide feedback to the area sales manager on buying trends in his/her given area.
- Represent the organization at trade exhibitions, events, and demonstrations in your area as and when instructed by ASM.
- Discussing now and then variations in price, delivery, and specifications about the product with ASM.
- Liaise with the area sales manager to check on the progress of existing orders from distributors and wholesalers.
- Check the fast-moving and slow-moving stock of your distributors and W/S on every visit and send the data to the Area Sales Manager.
- Record and process sales and order information. • Take responsibility for any customer complaints or issues & resolve them as soon as possible.
- Perform credit checks on customers to ensure outstanding balances are within limits before accepting an order.
- Follow and maintain the account settlement of distributors as per company policy.
- Maintain and ensure that more than 80% of products are available in the retail and W/S chains.
- Make market penetration and target achievements as per given standards.
